The Account Executive role will be the face of our company for our customers and will have the opportunity to work directly with both our customers and with Hyundai Translead's dealer network. This position will involve frequent domestic travel, up to 50%, and the person in this role will need to reside in the Southeast Region (FL, SC, NC, GA, TN, AL, VA). The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude/understanding.
Pay Range: $112,900 - $135,500 annually

Job Summary
The Account Executive builds and grows revenue through trusted dealer relations and direct customer engagement, with an emphasis on in-person customer calls, pricing negotiations, and technical collaboration to design and spec trailers. The role partners cross-functionally (Engineering, Operations, Finance, and After-Sales/Service) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and after-sale operations and coordination duties. Success requires strong personal skills, advanced communication skills, and a sustained drive for success in a dynamic, travel-heavy environment.
Essential Functions
- Establish and grow dealer relations while executing a disciplined cadence of in-person customer calls to qualify opportunities, shape requirements, and advance pipeline
- Design and spec trailers in partnership with Engineering and Operations, translating customer use-cases (load, terrain, regulatory, and duty cycle) into manufacturable specifications.
- Orchestrate after-sale operations and coordination duties—order tracking, delivery planning, issue resolution, and feedback loops with Service/Quality to protect customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accurate CRM forecasting, prepare sales activity updates and performance reports for leadership
- Uphold compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and safety standards
- Serve as key lead for legacy accounts and national dealer groups; coach field teams on call strategy
- Set deal parameters and structure frameworks for high-value pricing negotiations and mentor peers
- Work with customer to approve complex design/spec configurations and influence product portfolio through market insight
- Drive positive improvements in the sales processes (escalation paths, Voice of Customer loops)

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
- 7 years of experience in the trailer industry (trailers, trailer equipment, trailer parts, etc).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude/understanding
