Pay Range: $112,450 - $135,065

Job Summary
The Director, Maintenance is responsible for leading maintenance operations that support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing performance. This role develops and implements maintenance strategy to improve equipment uptime, reduce operational risk, and support production objectives through preventive and predictive maintenance programs, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices, and standardized maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities include leading maintenance personnel, supporting equipment reliability initiatives, conducting risk assessment activities, promoting lockout‑tagout compliance, and applying PLC basics to support troubleshooting and performance improvement of production equipment across manufacturing operations.
Essential Functions
- Support the development and execution of maintenance strategy aligned to production requirements
- Implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices
- Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles to improve equipment effectiveness and uptime
- Conduct and support equipment risk assessment activities related to reliability and maintainability
- Ensure compliance with lockout‑tagout procedures and applicable safety standards
- Provide technical guidance related to PLC basics for equipment troubleshooting and performance monitoring
- Partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to support operational objectives
- Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability
- Support root cause analysis for equipment failures and implementation of corrective actions
- Coordinate vendor support, maintenance contractors, and external service providers as needed
- Promote consistent documentation and maintenance standard work practices
- Develop and execute functional maintenance strategy for departmental operations
- Lead TPM implementation across multiple production lines
- Conduct detailed risk assessment of equipment and maintenance systems
- Ensure department-wide lockout‑tagout program effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership related to PLC basics for equipment lifecycle planning
- Manage maintenance governance and operational readiness initiatives
- Influence operational plans with short‑ to mid‑term impact
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Functions (Continued)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 12 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Experience developing departmental maintenance strategy
- Knowledge of TPM practices across multiple production areas
- Experience managing lockout‑tagout maintenance procedures
- Working knowledge of PLC basics to support system reliability
- Experience performing complex risk assessment analysis
Preferred Education and Experience Requirements
- Maintenance or engineering leadership certification
- TPM program management experience
- Experience formalizing equipment risk assessment processes
