Pay Range: $25.24 - $29.04 per hour

Job Summary

The Aftermarket Operations Associate supports the Aftermarket team by processing and managing plant orders. This includes tracking shipment status, coordinating with buyers regarding product availability, expediting the procurement of fabricated or raw material components, handling logistics and reporting, managing order invoicing, and overseeing Aftermarket accounts payable and receivable. This position contributes to the overall mission of Hyundai Translead by providing innovative solutions and improving the customer care experience.

Essential Functions

  • Process and track the status of plant transfers, third-party purchase orders, and sales orders from the Aftermarket e-commerce site with supervision
  • Search for stock availability and obtaining permission for usage from Procurement buyers
  • Create and send weekly reports to customers with assistance from the supervisor
  • Communicate with the outsourcing department to track all fabricated and purchased components
  • Create and send Bill of Ladings, process and maintaining records of freight bills, and create and process credit and debit invoices for sales, claims, and returns
  • Process customer claims (damaged, lost, wrong, or missing parts) 
  • Process Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
  • Answer inbound phone calls from customers promptly and politely
  • Receive and respond to customer requests using email and phone calls
  • Communicate any urgent issues to management
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  •  High school diploma or GED
    • Previous experience in problem-solving or operations
    • Previous experience using Excel 

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements

  • One year of related experience in heavy duty truck or trailer parts, automotive parts (retail or wholesale)

  • None

Travel Requirements

  • UP to 10%
