Pay Range: $98,200 - $117,800 annually
This position requires frequent travel to our two manufacturing plants in Tijuana an Rosarito. Candidates must be open to future domestic relocation as part of this position.

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Team is responsible for building new plants, improving the efficiency of existing production lines, and ensuring quality. They are responsible for resolving technical issues across the entire production process and establishing a stable mass production system through equipment and automation process optimization. Based on practical experience in process and equipment improvement and project execution capabilities, they will contribute to enhancing manufacturing competitiveness through productivity improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, this role is responsible for supporting and optimizing production line construction, equipment specification and installation, process flow design, automation system implementation, and productivity improvement within a manufacturing environment. The role provides technical support to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and delivers technical training as needed. The Manufacturing Engineer also collaborates with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive process improvements and support plant development initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Design and optimize layouts for production line construction
- Review and select key equipment specifications; consult with vendors
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and performance verification
- Develop process flows and implement productivity improvements for plant development
- Plan and implement automation system introductions
- Analyze process capacity and lead improvement activities to stabilize mass production
- Provide technical support to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Deliver technical training to relevant personnel
- Lead complex layout design and optimization projects for new and existing production lines.
- Oversee selection and integration of advanced equipment; manage vendor relationships
- Direct large-scale equipment installation, commissioning, and performance validation
- Drive process flow redesign and major productivity improvement projects
- Lead cross-functional teams in automation system introduction and integration
- Perform advanced process capacity analysis and implement stabilization strategies
- Advise on compliance matters and develop technical training programs
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Functions (Continued)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
· Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
· Significant experience in the automation industry
· Advanced proficiency with CAD or 3D design tools
· Demonstrated experience in equipment introduction, line construction, and process improvement
· Project leadership experience
Preferred Education and Experience Requirements
· Demonstrated success in new plant or line construction projects
· Advanced experience in process flow design, efficiency optimization, and utility management
